The Surrey town of Epsom is situated 15 miles south-west of central London and is surrounded by beautiful parks and greenery. Many people have heard of Epsom because of the famous Epsom Downs racecourse which houses The Derby, a race that has happened every year since 1780. As well as great shops and restaurants the Ashley Centre houses an Odeon Cinema and the Epsom Playhouse theatre, offering a variety of entertainment features and the open spaces surrounding Epsom provide plenty of opportunities for walking, riding, cycling. If you like to keep active there are a number of golf courses surrounding the area and the Rainbow Leisure Centre houses the local swimming pool, with David Lloyd and LA Fitness around the corner.
